WhiteGlove’s Corporate Program Now Available for Humana Employer Groups in Texas

Expanded Agreement Provides Enhanced Benefits for Humana Employer Groups

AUSTIN, Texas--()--Employers with employees in Austin, Dallas and San Antonio participating in Humana (NYSE: HUM) health plans now have access to WhiteGlove House Call Health, Inc.’s corporate program – giving these employers another choice in accessing health care, resulting in better health care experiences for their employees.

“Extending our agreement and offering our corporate program to Humana employer groups is an innovative step forward, offering health care consumers greater choice in receiving care.”

WhiteGlove’s corporate program focuses on reducing the number times that people are absent from work because of routine medical needs, and giving employees a new health care provider choice that is convenient.

“By extending WhiteGlove’s corporate program to Humana employers with employees in Austin, Dallas and San Antonio, we’re giving consumers more choice and greater convenience in how they access health care,” said Ken Malcolmson, chief executive officer for Humana’s West Central Region that includes Texas. “When a member can choose to see a provider at home late on a Saturday afternoon for flu symptoms instead of waiting at an emergency room, the member experiences more convenient care and a better overall health care experience.”

WhiteGlove’s services include routine medical care at home or at work, seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and over-the-counter and prescription medication delivery. Corporate services include one basic wellness assessment per employee per year and on-site health fairs staffed by WhiteGlove licensed professionals, promoting the importance of health and wellness.

“We’ve enjoyed a great relationship with Humana, first giving Humana members in Austin, Dallas and San Antonio access to our service as an in-network provider,” said Bob Fabbio, WhiteGlove’s founder, president and chief executive officer. “Extending our agreement and offering our corporate program to Humana employer groups is an innovative step forward, offering health care consumers greater choice in receiving care.”
