LOUISVILLE, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Humana Military Healthcare Services (HMHS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM), received Health Website Accreditation from URAC, a Washington, D.C. based healthcare accrediting organization that establishes quality standards for the industry.

URAC’s Health Website Accreditation standards ensure that websites are meeting the highest standard in the industry and assures consumers that a company’s website is trustworthy. The program provides feedback to website owners on how to improve online operations, including: privacy and security, health content, disclosure of financial relationships, linking policies, and consumer complaints.
Humana Military also has current URAC accreditation for Case Management, Disease Management – Asthma, Disease Management – Heart Failure, Health Network, HIPAA Privacy, and Utilization Management.

HMHS, headquartered in Louisville, KY., has been a Department of Defense contractor for the administration of the TRICARE program since July 1, 1996.
