Humana Adds National Retailers to its Vision Network, Expanding Services and Retail Locations

Expanded network provides members more flexibility and access to the industry’s top retail optical locations

LOUISVILLE, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM) announced today the addition of some of the nation’s most recognized retail optical locations to its HumanaVision Vision Care Plan (VCP) network, including LensCrafters, Sears Optical, Target Optical, JCPenney Optical, and most Pearle Vision stores.

Vision plan members can choose from HumanaVision VCP’s strong base of independent vision-care providers or from these new retail providers. The expanded network gives Humana’s members greater choices regarding when and where they can manage their eye care needs while also maintaining predictable pricing for eyeglasses and contact lenses.

EyeMed Vision Care will provide customer care for HumanaVision members and claims processing support through its wholly owned, licensed subsidiary First American Administrators, Inc. This expansion of the existing relationship gives HumanaVision members access to the most extensive customer care hours in the industry, including evening and weekend hours.
