Humana Names Dan Feruck Florida Employer Group President

TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM) has named Dan Feruck president of its Florida Employer Group operations.

Feruck is Humana’s senior commercial executive for the company’s Florida markets, which include South Florida, Central Florida and North Florida. He oversees and has responsibility for the overall commercial operations of Humana’s Florida market, as well as developing and implementing strategic objectives.

Humana is one of Florida’s leading health benefits companies with more than 185,000 commercial health plan members, 2.3 million specialty benefits members and nearly 80,000 individual health plan members statewide. Humana has more than 5,000 associates in Florida.

Feruck, who reports to Humana East Region Employer Group Segment CEO Paul Kraemer, has been Humana’s Georgia and Alabama commercial market president for the past seven years. Feruck, who is based in Atlanta, will continue in his Georgia/Alabama leadership roles, in addition to now heading Humana’s Florida commercial operations.

Feruck received his bachelor’s degree in business management/psychology from Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA.
