LOUISVILLE, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM) announced today that it has selected Omnicom Group Inc. as its primary national advertising and marketing agency, effective immediately. In addition to strengthening the Humana brand in the U.S. and globally through its selection of Omnicom, Humana expects to achieve significant cost savings by consolidating its advertising and marketing from several agencies across the U.S. to one primary agency.

“As we’ve conducted a comprehensive review over the past several months, Humana has been committed all along to choosing a world-class company – a leader in its industry,” said Raja Rajamannar, senior vice president and chief innovation and marketing officer at Humana. “With Omnicom, we have succeeded in selecting a company that will enable Humana to further build our brand while eliminating inefficiencies.”
